@needmoarcoffee1 @washingtonpost Exactly this. Moms have the power and capability for this and all of the other things we do, absolutely, but capacity? Hell no. Moms👏Need👏Systemic👏Support. Let’s do that before you ask for more from us...

@washingtonpost Indeed, the fact science evolves, and nothing about the climate is settled, let alone the science, propaganda and fear-mongering targeted at Moms will fill the void.

@washingtonpost Isn't it enough that we already have to find and match all the socks in our house? Why you gotta put this on us too.

A migraine is a neurological disorder that fires up multiple body systems at once & sometimes includes headaches. #DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement

I was born with my many disabilities, lived with them as a child, lived with them as a young adult, am living with them now as I'm becoming middle aged, will live with them as an elder, and I will die with them.

I'm not "too old" for autism or ADD, nor am I "too young" for joint pain and a walker. My brain and body work [or don't] the way they do regardless of how many years I've been alive.

1. The doctor at @Beaumont_Dublin emergency department not understanding how a “young” (I’m 35) person needs a wheelchair, even part time. Flabbergasted Dr shouting: “Is that your own chair?? ARE YOU AN INVALID!?” - Heavens forbid, Margaret.

#DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement and neither does ableism! In elementary school I was bullied for having tourette's and already ashamed of going to therapy. In high school, I lied about my doctor's appointments and why I missed so much school. We're taught to be ashamed early on.

I was having super intense pain in my legs and back at a young age. 8-9. It got dismissed as growing pains but here I am, nearly 21 and I still have the same pain, if not worse. I was considering a cane. I'm still not taken seriously by doctors.

I’ve actually been through cancer scare to the point of emergency surgery more than once. Reality is that’ll probably kill me if Epilepsy doesn’t. Now try living knowing that every day. Never mind baseline mental health without a complex history

I feel like I'm always scrutinized due to the frequency and severity of my migraines/pain from occipital neuralgia, and I don't want to be seen as a drug seeker for asking for actual pain relief. #DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement
