At the end of last year we faced the issue of Local Authorities having run out of funds to support the most vulnerable. This needs to be flagged immediately if that is the case this time around.

We will be mapping out the support of local authorities at and I encourage all LA’s to share schemes as soon as they are finalised so we can direct those most in need.

We expect caterers to ensure our food standards are met and adhered to when lunch parcels are prepared.
Since 4 January schools have been able to provide local vouchers instead.
From next week the National Voucher scheme will resume.

One thing I touched on with the Prime Minister was ways to course correct on the voucher scheme. If families can't access food consistently likelihood is they do not have access to a printer to print the vouchers at home. @10DowningStreet agreed to look into this.
