Tbh I don't see the problem with this. Tiktok is a social media platform just like twitter and ig it actually makes more sense to promote it there since it's a music based app. People just haven't adjusted to it being normal yet because it's a newer app.
it changes the landscape of music in an unprecedented way. if you don’t work in music, of course you won’t see a problem. but when there is no more organic growth, music is now controlled by corporations. thus making it harder for independent artists to thrive.

nah, it’s deeper than that. that would be too obvious. most famous tiktokers are just following trends pre-determined for them.
they don’t set trends, the hop on and capitalize. it’s a symbiotic relationship they have no idea about.
